How does Firsty app work?

Accepted Answer

You first need to download the Firsty app in the Apple App store or the Google Play store. Next step is to activate your eSIM once, and the final step is to select Firsty as your mobile data provider. Once this is done, you're good to go for 30 days or whatever time you choose, anywhere in the world. No more dealing with different SIMs or eSIMs for each place you visit. Firsty's global eSIM covers the entire world, so you don't need multiple local or regional eSIM cards.

What is a Firsty eSIM?

An eSIM, or embedded SIM, is a digital SIM card integrated directly into your device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Unlike traditional physical SIM cards, eSIMs are built into devices during manufacturing and cannot be physically removed or replaced by users.  Firsty utilizes this eSIM technology to ensure continuous connectivity by remotely connecting you to local providers in the countries you visit, eliminating the need for manual (e)SIM card swaps.

Firsty utilizes a global network of regional telecom providers, automatically connecting users to the best local telecom providers. And all of this without manual intervention. Firsty switches providers in the background, ensuring you don't lose your connectivity.

Will I receive a phone number with my Firsty eSIM?

Accepted Answer

Currently, Firsty is a mobile data-only solution, meaning phone numbers are outside our offering. However, thanks to eSIM technology, you can keep using your primary SIM card for calls and text messaging in parallel with your Firsty eSIM.

How do I know if my device supports eSIM?

Accepted Answer

Most phones manufactured since 2018 are eSIM-compatible, but it's essential to check for your specific device and location.  Wondering which devices are eSIM-ready? Check our blog for the latest list, constantly expanding as more eSIM-compatible devices hit the market.

What's the difference between traditional eSIM providers vs. Firsty?

Can I use my SIM card and Firsty eSIM at the same time?

Yes, you can, if dual SIM is supported on your device. Dual SIM technology makes it possible for you to use the Firsty eSIM for data and your primary SIM for calls and messages. Using two SIMs together is an easy and convenient way to stay connected wherever you are. In this way you can still be reached on your primary number.

Question 9

Can I create a personal hotspot on Firsty mobile data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is possible with Firsty First Class. It is not possible when you are using Firsty Free or if you are on the paid plan Comfort+.
