Understanding eSIM and Its Requirements

Before You Start: 3 Important Things to Know
Before installing your Firsty eSIM, keep these three key points in mind:
✅ Your device must support eSIM technology – Most smartphones released since 2018 are compatible.
✅ Ensure a stable internet connection – WiFi or mobile data is required during setup.
✅ Never delete your eSIM during activation – Once deleted, it cannot be recovered without contacting support.

Step 1: Download the Firsty App
To get started, download the Firsty App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android):
1⃣ Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
2⃣ Search for “Firsty”.
3⃣ Click Download and install the app.
Once installed, open the Firsty App and create an account to access your eSIM plans.
Step 2: Choose Your Firsty Plan
After signing up, select the Firsty Plan that best fits your needs:

Once you've chosen your plan, tap “Activate Your Firsty eSIM”.
Step 3: Install Your Firsty eSIM Using a QR Code
After selecting your plan, your iPhone will prompt you to install the eSIM:
1⃣ A pop-up will appear asking to download the eSIM – Click Allow.
2⃣ Your phone will now install your Firsty eSIM – This process may take a few minutes.
3⃣ Once installed, tap Continue.
Step 4: Configure Your eSIM Technology Settings
Before you start using your Firsty eSIM, complete the following settings adjustments:
1⃣ Set Your Primary Line for Default Line
When prompted, choose "Primary" as your Default Line.
This ensures you can continue receiving calls and texts on your main number.
2⃣ Set iMessage & FaceTime to Your Primary Line
Repeat the same step for iMessage and FaceTime – select “Primary” to keep your existing number.
3⃣ Set Your Firsty eSIM for Mobile Data
When asked about Mobile Data, select your Firsty eSIM.
Your Firsty eSIM may appear as “Travel,” “Business,” “Secondary,” or “Orange France".
4⃣ Turn OFF Mobile Data Switching
To avoid unexpected roaming charges, disable “Mobile Data Switching” in your settings.
This ensures that your Firsty eSIM is used exclusively for data.
Step 5: Connect to a Network
Your Firsty App will now automatically search for the best available network and connect to it.
